Sun Devil Source: Aquinas (Overland Park, Kan.) 2022 defensive tackle Jalen Marshall first heard from Arizona State graduate assistant Shaun Prater and recruiting coordinator Antonio Pierce when the contact period opened last September but did not initially receive a scholarship offer from the Sun Devils, as they hoped to see more development in his junior year.
But after a season in which he recorded 48 total tackles and 3.0 sacks, according to MaxPreps, Marshall said ASU defensive line coach Robert Rodriguez told him he was proud to extend him an opportunity on Feb. 2.
