USCFootball.com: The Pac-12 announced last week fall football was back on, with a seven-game season set to start the weekend of November 7 and end on the championship weekend of December 19. Each Pac-12 program will play every team in its division plus one crossover game from the opposite division. Then on championship weekend the top team in the North Division will face off against the top team in the South Division, plus the remaining teams will also play cross-division games in a yet to be determined fashion.
The Pac-12 also announced the crossover game would count in the standings to determine the division champion. That puts a tremendous amount of importance on those crossover games with a major impact on competitive balance.
