Sun Devil Source: The Sun Devils could not be more confident in Jayden Daniels as their starting quarterback. The backup situation has included more questions than answers, though the likely break-glass-in-case-of-a-Daniels-emergency option increasingly appears to be a walk-on.
The race for the No. 2 signal-caller spot between redshirt freshman Trenton Bourguet and freshman Daylin McLemore has Bourguet clearly in the lead, ASU head coach Herm Edwards told media members on Oct. 9.
