By David Cobb & Kyle Boone, CBS Sports: We’ve got ourselves a bid-stealer out west as Oregon State, a No. 5 seed, pulled off the Pac-12 upset after dark over No. 3 seed Colorado to secure the league’s NCAA Tournament automatic bid on Saturday night.
It’s an historic accomplishment for the Beavers as they had never won the Pac-12 Tournament. But it’s also historic in that no team in Pac-12 history picked to finish last in the preseason — as they were — has advanced all the way to the title game, much less won the whole thing.
