NBC Sports NW: For years, anyone who watched the Oregon Ducks regularly knew Justin Herbert was special.
Whether it was starting as a true freshman without spring camp, turning around the Ducks from a 4-8 program to winning the Rose Bowl, or his cannon of an arm, Herbert was always destined to succeed wherever he went.
Now that he’s lighting it up in the NFL on his way to a likely Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, the whole nation is taking notice including one of the greats: Brett Favre.
