CA teams now allowed to train outdoors in groups up to 75, indoors up to 25

USCFootball.com: The state of California officially revised its cohort numbers Thursday. Teams are now allowed to train outdoors in groups up to 75 and train indoors in groups up to 25. California teams were previously restricted to cohort groups of only six to twelve people. The state’s latest guidelines are dependent on teams conducting daily antigen tests.

Thursday’s development now makes college football viable in the state of California. Despite the Pac-12 officially announcing its return for a fall season last week, the conference’s California schools had their hands tied due to the state’s strict regulations. Teams can now start conducting walkthroughs and other 11-on-11 activities.
