Bear Territory: The California Golden Bears moved to a fullback-involved offense in the 2020 season, but after just four short games their starting fullback does not intend to return in 2021. Drew Schlegel, who joined Cal as a graduate transfer from Kentucky, has reportedly entered the NCAA Transfer Portal to play next season elsewhere.
In one season with the Golden Bears Schlegel played in four games and had two starts. He also caught more passes at Cal (2 receptions for 14 yards) than in four years at Kentucky.
