Duck Territory: The Pac-12 announced a seven-game schedule with a conference championship game lining in up to keep the conference in consideration for the College Football Playoff. As the Pac-12 is getting a late start to the season with little to no room for postponements, multiple analysts questioned if the Pac-12 would be able to get a team in the playoff over the conferences scheduled to play upwards of nine games this fall.
Immediately following the Pac-12’s announcement, a CBS Sports analyst laid out his case as to why a Pac-12 team, particularly Oregon would have a shot at making the College Football Playoff.
