247Sports: Coach Mike Leach has made a career off of the air raid offense with Texas Tech, Washington State, and now Mississippi State. During the Bulldogsâ season opening upset win over LSU, quarterback K.J. Costello threw for 623 yards and five touchdowns.
This is Leachâs 19th year as a collegiate head coach after 10 years at Texas Tech and eight seasons at Washington State. Leach owns a 140-91 career coaching record.
