Duck Territory: Justin Herbert might be 0-2 in his first two career starts but those losses are not for a lack of production from the former Oregon quarterback. In fact, Herbert has accomplished something just two other NFL quarterbacks have done in a quarterback’s first two starts.
After Herbert’s second straight start and second straight impressive performance, he became just the third quarterback in NFL history to throw for 300-plus yards in their first two games. The other two quarterbacks to accomplish that feat are Cam Newton and Kyler Murray, Murray was a rookie last season.
