Five challenges for Utah football before game week

UteZone: The Pac-12 and Utah football team have a later start than most of the schools playing this fall. That can be viewed as both a good or bad thing, as the Utes have more time to prepare, but also won’t have their first-game jitters out of the way by the time they take the field the first weekend of November.

The Utes were a team ranked in the preseason Top 25, which should mean that Utah will be held in higher regard despite the later start. They still have to bring their A-game, and then some, to compete later this month inside Rice-Eccles Stadium.
