Former Washington WR Dante Pettis has learned from past mistakes

Dawgman: After a promising rookie season in 2018, former Husky and current San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettis was a young player every had their eyes on heading into his sophomore campaign last fall. Instead of a breakout season, Pettis got in head coach Kyle Shanahan’s doghouse and never emerged. At least that’s what the situation seemed to be at the time. However, late last week, the third-year wideout spoke to the media and admitted his lack of productivity last season was his fault, not anyone elses.
