247Sports: The Pac-12 is not worried about missing the College Football Playoff for a fourth straight year.
The conference became the final Power 5 league to announce a fall season will be played after initially deciding to cancel the season Aug. 11. The seven-game, conference-only schedule begins Nov. 6, making it the shortest schedule among all active FBS conferences (eight) playing this fall. The schedule provides no breathing room for the conference before the playoff’s deadline for conference championships to be completed (Dec. 19). If games are unable to be played, they will be canceled with no make-up dates.
