NCAA sounding seriously doubtful about playing football this fall

247Sports/CougFan.com: Both the NCAA President and its chief medical officer on Friday were pessimistic on the prospects for playing a college football season this fall. They aren’t the only ones spreading the doom and gloom.

NCAA president Mark Emmert and the association’s chief medical officer, Brian Hainline, both offered blunt assessments on Friday night in  an interview on Twitter.

“This is going to be difficult, to say the least, going forward,” Emmert said.
