‘Nothing is written in pen’: ASU’s Edwards talks lessons from season

Sun Devil Source: Herm Edwards nodded sagely during his weekly Zoom press conference on Monday as he was asked to consider the value of a season where weeks have felt like years and each day has been marked by another COVID-19 test.



 


 

Entering the fifth week of the Pac-12 campaign, Arizona State was the only participating FBS school to play just a single game. Two weeks later, the third-year Sun Devil head coach paused to ponder the abbreviated season’s importance. After some thought, he said the year has hardly been a waste, especially due to its lessons off the field.
