Oregon Governor: The State doesn’t expect fans at sports in fall, winter

Duck Territory: On Friday, Oregon Governor Kate Brown and the Oregon Health Authority held a press conference to update the status of the COVID-19 Pandemic in the state of Oregon. Presenting new modeling and making aware of the potential for the Labor Day holiday to present a spike in the current number of cases was the focus of the press conference but the panel took questions, including one about large public gatherings in the state.

Brown was asked on Friday about when she knew that such large gatherings like football games or the Pendleton Roundup, a large Rodeo in Eastern Oregon, would be held without spectators in attendance.
