Duck Territory: According to one report, the Ducks have found their new defensive coordinator. Football Scoop reported early Friday morning that Mario Cristobal will be hiring Cal defensive coordinator Tim DeRuyter to take the same position for the Ducks.
Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman also reported the move, confirming the Football Scoop report.
“SOURCE: Cal’s Tim DeRuyter, the former DC at TAMU and Air Force, is expected to become the new defensive coordinator at #Oregon. DeRuyter’s always been known as a whiz at disguising coverages as well as anyone..” Feldman tweeted.
