Pro Ducks: Ruthy Hebard’s Sky reach playoffs, Sabally’s Wings just miss out

Duck Territory: Ruthy Hebard saved her best of the regular season for last, netting a career-best 22 points and eight rebounds in Chicago’s final game of the shortened WNBA season on Friday.

It won’t be the last of Hebard fans will see either, as Chicago concluded the 22-game regular season with a 12-10 record — a mark good enough for the six-seed in the eight-team WNBA postseason which starts on Tuesday. Competing for a top-seed for much of the season, the Sky backed their way in to the postseason, winning just four of their final 10 games following a few key injuries.
