By Trevor Booth, Sun Devil Source: Arizona State concluded its abbreviated 2020 football season with great optimism toward its future, a feeling that reverberated throughout its 15 spring practices last month.
The Sun Devils are expected to return all but one starter on either side of the ball for 2021, including the second-most so-called “super seniors” among Power 5 schools according to Bill Connolly, who assembles ESPN’s SP+ rankings. ASU finished last season with the top-ranked scoring offense and defense in the Pac-12 and is optimistic it can carry that success forward with its depth of talent.
