Remembering the most bone-jarring tackle in WSU history

CougFan.com: The subject of great de-cleatings came up in a pair of phone conversations with Cougar partisans the other day and it became pretty clear that a bone-jarring stick leveled in Martin Stadium exactly 25 years ago this month still rings long and loud among the faithful.

With apologies to Mark Patterson for his KO at Michigan State in 1977; Deone Bucannon for his decaffeinating stick at Auburn in 2013; offensive lineman Lincoln Walden-Schultz’s for flattening an unsuspecting USC cornerback in 1999; Anthony Carpenter blasting an Oregon return man in 2010;  C.J. Mizell calf roping a ball carrier Oregon State in 2011; and many others, we bring you Phillip Glover in 1995.
