USCFootball: USC running backĀ Markese SteppĀ has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, per sources. The redshirt sophomore battled multiple injuries this year, but played in five of the Trojans’ six games. He finished as the team’s third-leading rusher with 165 yards on 45 carries, for an average of 3.67 yards a carry.
If Stepp does transfer out of USC, the future of the Trojans’ running back depth will be thin. Two of the team’s veteran backs, redshirt seniorĀ Vavae MalepeaiĀ and seniorĀ Stephen Carr,Ā could potentially move on but have the option to return for an extra year of eligibility in 2021.
