By Jackson Moore, Cardinal 247: The Stanford Cardinal have a third departure from the 2020-21 men’s basketball team. According to several reports, senior guard Daejon Davis is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal and will use his extra year of eligibility elsewhere.
Davis was a career double-digit scorer for the Cardinal. Most recently, Davis averaged 10.3 points per game with a 45 percent shooting clip from the field and was 36 percent from 3-point range. Davis played in only 13 games, however, as he was in and out of the lineup with injuries. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on the 2020-21 season, he has one year of eligibility still to play.
