USCFootball: Dual-sport star Drake London will focus on football and will miss the remainder of USC’s basketball season, head coach Andy Enfield announced Tuesday. The news came following the Trojans’ 86-63 win over Santa Clara in the Galen Center.
“Drake has decided to concentrate on football and will not be playing on our team this year,” Enfield said in his postgame press conference. “We wish him the best. It was great to have him join us last year. And watching him on the football field, I think he made the right decision because he’s an All-Pac-12-level receiver and it’s a lot of fun to watch him. As good a basketball player as Drake could have been, he’s decided to just concentrate on football.”
