By Jerry Meyer, USCFootball: Riding the momentum of a run to the Elite Eight, USC has the enormous shoes of Evan Mobley to fill. No one is going to fully fill those shoes, but incoming recruit KJ Allen of Last Chance U fame will provide an impactful physical athleticism to the Trojans’ attack.
With the absence of Mobley, who is expected to declare for the NBA Draft and be a top-three pick, USC will have a large interior void to fill. Allen, a 6-6, 225-pound forward, isn’t the long, talented player that Mobley is. Very few players are. But Allen in a very different way can fill some of that void.
