WSU hoops coach Kyle Smith tests positive for COVID-19, to miss opener

CougFan.com: Washington State men’s basketball coach Kyle Smith has tested positive for covid-19 and is not expected to be out of self-isolation in time to coach the Cougs’ basketball opener one week from today, WSU SID announced moments ago. As part of WSU’s normal testing protocols, Smith had a presumptive positive antigen test earlier this week, which was subsequently confirmed by a PCR test.

Smith tested positive after experiencing what he said were minor symptoms.
